Boy are the fish biting here at the lake! The past few weeks have been filled with catfish catches and of course, bass. (Don’t forget the slot size limit for those bass…) Did you know that Roosevelt Lake is also home to all sorts of amazing fish including crappie, carp, and sunfish? We also historically used to have the most significant population of Southwestern Willow Flycatchers which are endangered.
So why not grab some friends and some poles and enjoy a day fishing at the lake? After your hard work you can then come visit us in the bar for a nice cold one and brag about your catch. (We won’t tell anyone if you exaggerate.)
